Vietnam is a relative new “geography” for SAP. The SAP Office in Hanoi was established in 2007 – the same year as Segmenta and CMC established our joint venture in Vietnam.

CMC Corporation is with its 1.200 employees the second largest IT-company in Vietnam. The company has a long experience with systems integration and software sales.

Segmenta-CMC has agreed with SAP to focus on the Consumer and Distribution industries, both industries have a very fast growth in Vietnam.

Segmenta plans to increase the number of consultants in Vietnam to more than 50 employees within a short period of time.

Lars Damgaard, CEO of Segmenta and Board Member in Segmenta-CMC:  “It is the expectation of Segmenta in Denmark that the close cooperation with SAP in Asia and Segmenta-CMC in Vietnam will contribute to the development and sales of SAP-templates also to the Danish market. To ensure this, Segmenta on a continuous basis has a team of Vietnamese consultants in Denmark to contribute to this development”.
